 ike on a few miles of the total 18.5 miles of trails at Jacobsburg\, open 
 to walking\, all-terrain biking\, horseback riding\, and cross-country ski
 ing in this 1\,168-acre state park. Our walk takes us on level trails alon
 g Sober’s Run\, which flows into Bushkill Creek. Also\, we can explore S
 ober’s Run Loop Trail\, which has some elevation gain. If you opt to sta
 y on the level\, it’s easy to return to your car on the clearly marked t
 rail.\n\nTo improve the stream’s health\, Wildlands Conservancy has remo
 ved several low dams on the Bushkill. The Jacobsburg Historical Society ha
 s exhibits and demonstrations of early gun making and operates the Pennsyl
 vania Long Rifle Heritage Museum on site. Also\, the Historical Society of
 fers a wide range of exciting historical programs throughout the year\, in
 cluding mid-1840s rendezvous\, encampments\, and historical crafts.\n\nDog
 s on leash are welcome. Wear sturdy shoes and bring walking stick/hiking p
 oles. Wildlands will supply poles for your use. The nearest portable bathr
 oom is at the Horse Trailer Parking Lot on Belfast Road.\n\nThis walk is f

 3 north for 7.6 miles to the Belfast Exit. At foot of exit ramp turn right
  onto Henry Road for 0.1 miles and make sharp left onto Belfast Road. Go o
 n Belfast Road for 1.2 miles to the Jacobsburg Road. Turn right onto Jacob
 sburg Road for just 0.2 miles and take slight left to continue on Belfast 
 Road for 0.8 miles. Cross the bridge\, and the parking lot is on your left
  at the intersection of Belfast Rd. and Keller Rd. Remember to park SNUGGL
