DESCRIPTION:Wildlands Conservancy: Stream Team Volunteer at Berger Street\n
 \nJoin Wildlands Conservancy as we maintain vegetative areas along streams
  (riparian buffers) and help ensure the survival of young\, native trees i
 n the forest buffer.\n\nThese vital areas improve water quality in local c
 ommunities\, reduce erosion and flooding concerns\, and provide habitat fo
 r wildlife.\n\nStream Team is a series of volunteer opportunities on Frida
 ys from June through September.\n\nVolunteers will:\n-maintain tubes place
 d over the trees to protect them from deer\n-remove invasive vegetation\n\
 nVolunteers must:\n-be 16 years or older OR be accompanied by a parent/gua
 rdian if under 16\n-be able to work outside for the duration of the shift\
 , on uneven ground\n-wear safe footwear and clothing that can get dirty\n\
 nWorking Conditions:\n-Participants should be prepared for anticipated wea
 ther conditions. This event will generally be rain or shine with the excep
 tion of severe weather conditions.\n-Gloves\, tools\, water\, and snacks w
 ill be provided\, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own.\n–Parti
 cipants should bring bug spray\, sunscreen\, and hats as desired to protec
 t from the elements.\n–Some locations where we will work will have restr
 oom facilities\, though others will not\, so participants should plan acco
