Hosts: Appalachian Mountain Club and Delaware Canal State Park
Join Appalachian Mountain Club leader and Delaware Canal State Park educator Ian Kindle for a leisurely evening hike from Wy-Hit-Tuk park along the level D&L Trail:Delaware Canal Towpath approximately 2 miles to Canalside Cup, ice cream shop, and back, with an option for an additional mile extension (total distance 4-5 miles). A short distance walking along the shoulder of PA-611 will be required to get to the ice cream. Don’t forget your ice cream money!
Enjoy beautiful evening river and canal views, wildlife and more! Friendly, leashed dogs welcome, but are not allowed in Wy-Hit-Tuk County Park.
