Lehigh Valley Bike to Work Week: May 13-21, 2023

From May 13-21, 2023, CAT and partners are celebrating Lehigh Valley Bike to Work Week with group bike rides and individual encouragement. CAT supports adults to ride their bikes for useful and enjoyable purposes around the Lehigh Valley throughout the week, which is also National Bike to Work Week.
Participants are requested to RSVP for in-person events and virtual rides. Lehigh Valley Bike to Work Week will offer three in-person group bike rides led by CAT: • Wednesday, May 17, 2:30-3:30pm – Afternoon Bike Ride at Easton City Hall with Mayor Panto • Thursday, May 18, 12-1pm – Lunchtime Bike Ride at Bethlehem City Hall with Mayor Reynolds • Friday, May 19, 12-1pm – Lunchtime Bike Ride at Allentown City Hall with Mayor Tuerk All rides are open to the public (ages 16-adult) will offer cyclists a short bike tour (~45 minutes) of each city in a supported group ride. Riders are encouraged to check their bikes before the ride and to wear a helmet. Riders who arrive 30 minutes early can receive a free bike/helmet safety check on-site. For those unable to attend in-person events, CAT has options to ride throughout the week anywhere in Lehigh or Northampton Counties. For anyone interested to bike to work during LV Bike to Work Week or anytime, contact CAT for assistance with route planning or other logistics.
