Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards: Rain Barrel Workshop – Build Your Own
August 16, 2026 | 11am – 12pm
Location: Seed Farm, 5854 Vera Cruz Road, Emmaus, PA 18049
About: Participants will construct their own rain barrels and explore topics such as the impact of stormwater on the environment, best management practices for homeowners, the anatomy of a rain barrel, maintenance tips and how to properly connect it to a downspout. Organizers request that participants bring appropriate transportation to take the rain barrel home. The rain barrels typically are compatible with the cargo space in most SUVs.
Space is limited, so registration by Aug. 15 is required. There is a $60 registration fee.
