About: Led by Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards, this event offers the opportunity to learn about the advantages of rain barrels and construct your own. Whether you’re keen on conserving water, controlling stormwater, or nurturing your lawn and garden, a rain barrel can make a significant difference. During the workshop, you’ll construct your own rain barrel and delve into topics such as stormwater management, best practices for homeowners, the anatomy of a rain barrel, maintenance tips, and how to properly connect it to your downspout.
