Wildlands Conservancy -Get Out! for Wellness: Pennypacker Mills

Learn about and explore this Montgomery County Historic Site that covers 175 acres. Hike through fields on grassy paths and partly along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek, on a woods trail with some roots and rocks. The route connects with the 20-mile Perkiomen Trail.

Once at the farm, those interested will enjoy a guided tour of the large farmhouse.

This 2.5 mile hike is suitable for all ages. Dress in layers for the weather. Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes. Dogs are allowed on leash on the property, but not in the farmhouse. Bathrooms are near the parking lot. Afterwards, you might care to visit nearby Ott’s Exotic Plants (861 Gravel Pike, Schwenksville) and their famous “mountain of mums.” Their greenhouse is a gem, too.
