Wildlands Conservancy – Get Out! for Wellness- Picton Wildlife Preserve
Picton Wildness Preserve is owned and managed by North Branch Land Trust and is located on 349 peaceful and densely forested acres in Foster Township, this beautifully maintained natural area is home to an abundance of plants and wildlife.
On a leisurely walk, you might come across frogs, salamanders, chipmunks, snakes and so much more. The preserve also serves as a respite for migratory birds and it is a favorite among local bird watchers. There are also two ponds on the property teeming with fish, tadpoles, dragonflies and turtles.
