In 2024 the Division of Parks & Recreation, Northampton County celebrated 50-
years of conservation, recreation and education initiatives. The same year the
Lehigh Valley Greenways, the first Conservation Landscape within the
Commonwealth, celebrated 20-years. A celebration of these decades of past
accomplishments gathered many of these conservation partners at Northampton
County’s 200-acre Wayne A. Grube Memorial Park. The event was also in
conjunction with Day 3 of the 28th Lehigh River Sojourn and New Trail Brewery
designed and donated a special beer can highlighting the event.
