The spring 2024 Lone Lane Park tree planning project included the site preparation, planning, and growth fostering of 19 mature trees at one of Upper Macungie Township’s most used park facilities. Lone Lane Park is comprised of 17 plus acres and includes a 1.0-mile walking path, 3 baseball/softball fields, multi-use fields, 1.5 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, a playground and a 300-person capacity pavilion. The 19 trees planted represent a variety of species that will reduce the risk of disease spreading amongst groups of trees.
